Cookie Policy
Information about cookies and similar technologies that may be used on the Ideakard website.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files or similar technologies that allow a website to remember information or recognise a browser/device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and other mechanisms that store or access information on a device.
2. How Ideakard may use them
- Strictly necessary: security, basic functionality, preferences and operation of the website.
- Analytics: understanding traffic, page performance and website usage, where enabled and where required consent has been obtained.
Ideakard does not need advertising cookies for the core product-information website. If advertising, remarketing or additional third-party technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent controls should be updated before deployment.
3. Your choices
The website provides a cookie preference interface. You can choose “Essential only” or “Allow analytics”. Your preference is stored locally so the banner does not repeatedly appear on the same browser.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, those technologies should not be activated before valid consent. UK guidance, for example, states that non-essential cookies generally require user agreement and that consent should involve clear affirmative action.
4. Third-party analytics
If Ideakard activates a provider such as Google Analytics, the provider’s cookies and data practices will also apply. Google documents that Analytics can use cookies such as _ga and can collect usage, browser/device and approximate location information in its default implementation.
5. Changes
Cookie use may change as website features are added. We will update this policy and the consent experience when material changes are made.
6. Contact
For questions about cookies or privacy, contact support@ideakard.com or use the Contact page.
